E L O I S E was created to fill the spaces in our everyday lives – between professional and personal, day and night, work and drinks out. Through the craftsmanship, the fabric, and the make, I wanted to focus on the quality, not branding. Every garment reflects the true cost of creating clothing that lasts, made slowly and thoughtfully. Nothing more.
It began with a pair of pants I made in my first year of fashion school. I tried to make as much of my wardrobe as I could and the pants were the item that I got the most compliments on.
Then, when I entered the real world of work, finding affordable yet high quality pieces for my work wardrobe proved pretty tough. I knew I still had a lot to learn on my fashion journey, so I kept focusing on building my skills and learning as much from the industry as I could.
I worked in a fabric store and in the workroom of a New Zealand fashion brand, before going out on my own, with the pants from all those years ago as the first piece I launched.
